Empire State Building nestled under Manhattan Bridge arch at twilight
Brooklyn, NY
This is a very famous view of the Manhattan Bridge. In order to compose the Empire State Building directly beneath it, you have to stand in the middle of the street. I had to step out of the way while I was shooting to allow a car to pass. When I was done, I turned around a saw that the car had stopped just behind me with its passenger standing up through the sunroof taking a picture of the bridge... as were many of the passersby.
In post-production, I replaced the sky with an image of blue Mylar paper via a Photoshop method known as "stacking."
